Birgo is a mission-driven company that is seeking a qualified Maintenance Coordinator to assist with multifamily apartment upkeep in the Mt Lebanon neighborhood of Pittsburgh. (Work orders to complete include plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, electrical, and drywall repairs.) Train and coach Maintenance Technicians in order to improve job performance and reduce work order completion time Complete repairs and improvements in vacant units for market-ready status in a timely manner Handle purchasing of supplies and materials; maintain inventory Maintain the grounds and common areas in order to keep a positive curb appeal Perform assigned preventive maintenance duties and tasks Perform emergency on-call service for after-hours maintenance-related issues Other duties as assigned to improve lives through real estate Objectives and Key Results Deliver a world class customer service experience to each and every tennant regardless of gender, race, age, or sexual orientation while completing work orders Complete all work orders to the highest standard and in a timely manner Demonstrate ongoing professional development Requirements Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of trade specific experience or general maintenance experience, 1+ years experience directing the work of laborers Organized and detail-oriented Working understanding of maintenance related fields Time management Any additional certification (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, ect) will be considered an advantage Work Requirements Must be eligible to work in the United States Must have a personal and reliable mode of transportation Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance Must be able to work in confined spaces as well as ascend and descend ladders and staircases Work Style Servant hearted Team player who can work independently Comfortable working within established processes Strong commitment to timely and accurate work Benefits Medical, Vision, and Dental health insurance with company contribution 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Lease renewal bonus 10 days of Paid Time Off and 9 paid holidays Healthy Lifestyle and Professional Development reimbursement programs More about Birgo: Birgo Realty offers an exciting start-up environment, characterized by fast growth and an entrepreneurial spirit.
