MSP: Shooting At Wayne County Party Led To Deadly Crash

WAYNE COUNTY, MI — Two suspects are at large after a shooting at a large party in Wayne County Wednesday morning, Michigan State Police said Wednesday morning. According to Michigan State Police, troopers were dispatched to the 30000 block of Carlysle in Inkster following the report of a shooting. Police said there was a large party with a large group of people taking place when two unknown men approached the party and fired multiple rounds into the crowd. Both suspects ran from the scene, police said. Three people were shot, according to police. One of the three victims was transported to a local hospital by EMS. Two other victims were in another vehicle that was involved in a crash at Inkster and Ford roads in Dearborn Heights, police said. They were then transported to a local hospital by EMS after the crash, police said. According to WXYZ, that crash was deadly and closed the intersection. The roads have since been reopened, however. The shooting remains under investigation, police said.
