Come join the Wisconsin Union Restaurant team as a Inventory Control & Driver!! JOB SUMMARY: This position is part of a team that is responsible for the daily operations of the warehouse, driving in Wisconsin Union trucks and distribution of products in and out of the two Union buildings and outlying units across campus. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assesses stock supply and submits orders, verifies shipment receipt, and maintains shipping, receiving, and inventory records to ensure unit has appropriate inventory. 5% Tracks inventory levels and places replenishment orders following established vendor procurement procedures 35% Inspects and inventories received items and processes notifications to appropriate entities 30% Shelves inventory and maintains organization 10% Generates inventory reports to account for available stock and usage 20% Distributes and delivers food and product with Union vehicles. TASKS: Accurately assemble hot and cold food carts with prepared food in a climate controlled room, as ordered off the productions/transfer sheets. Provide communications to the lead workers regarding the production of products and/or shipping of products concerning problems, errors and/or enhancements. Receive, inspect, and distribute merchandise for WI Union locations, ensuring FIFO, including FedEx and UPS. Verify each item has correct label with unit identification, date, and product identification. Review invoices of deliveries, make notations about quantity received, deliver paperwork and invoices to area supervisor, and properly store received merchandise. Safely drive several types of campus owed vehicles. Supervise work of part-time and student staff to ensure proper food handling. Apply Today!!
