Our client in the Minooka, IL is currently searching for a Security Officer. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and work with our experienced Security team. The ideal candidate must be able to make decisions, follow directions, and give instructions. The Officer will be working in a Guard Shack and be responsible for logging inbound/outbound semi- tractors and trailers. Qualifications: · High school or equivalent (Required) · PERC Card (Eligible) Schedule: Mon-Fri. 6:00AM-2:00PM, Responsibilities and Requirements: -Patrol premises regularly, inspecting buildings, equipment and access point, report any suspicious behaviors and happenings, submit reports of daily surveillance, submits reports of any suspicious action. -Good understanding of legal guidelines for security and public safety. -Provide a welcoming environment. -Respond to emergency situations. -Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. -Must have good verbal and written communication skills in English. -Prepare highly detailed shift reports and incident reports -Professional appearance. -Use mobile and computer applications to assist in reporting shift activity.
