All Staffing Warehousing's client in Somerset, NJ is looking to hire an experienced Packer Sorters as soon as possible. Our client is a leading manufacturer of rigid plastic packaging products that serve markets world-wide. This is a temp to permanent opportunity. **Please call or text Sulia at 215-932-7404** Position Summary: 2 Persons needed This company has rotating 12 hour shifts * Night Shift: 7:00pm to 7:00am. The first week, you work 3 days for 36 hours on one set of days. The second week you work 48 hours on the other days. Essential Functions for Packer Sorter $17/hour Night Shifts: B & D. Pack and Sort boxes with materials Standing for long periods of time. Position requirements: ** • Perform all color / resin / additive changes • Assists in mold set-ups and changeovers and line clearances. • Assist with performing inventory. • Make MRP transactions manually and through the use of RF scanners • Focus on minimizing / eliminating resin, color, additive, and regrind scrap. • Properly document movement of material from storage to machines and from machine to inventory • Performs other duties as assigned by immediate management. • Needs to be able to drive a Fork truck Required for All HS diploma or GED Equivalent Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment in the capacity of material handler or shipping Basic computer skills (Excel, Word)- Job will require extensive use of hand scanning devices Basic math skills Detail oriented, good communication skills, able to manage projects as assigned Willing to work flexible hours, overtime and be on-call Proficiency in English – read, write, understand and speak fluently Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently. Food Safety Requirements: Monitor and verify activities to ensure that all maintenance work in the facility meet food safety standards in addition to quality standards. Comply with all company food safety and quality assurance procedures and complete documentation correctly. Ensure all work product contact surfaces are restored to sanitary condition after any job completion. Report incidents, and product or process failures that could impact food safety of manufactured product to your direct reports and submit a safety/food safety incident report.
