INTERNSHIP in the Fine Visual Arts / IN-person and Remote Learn the behind the scenes work of a Fine Visual Artist Are you interested in the behind the scenes work a Fine Visual Artist does? Do you want to learn all the different areas of research avenues that Fine Visual Artist takes to advance themselves in their field? In addition, how a Fine Visual Artist approaches different entities such as Galleries, Investors, Museums, Curators and Architects, and so on? You will learn this and the different methods and research avenues. You will be writing letters of approach, thank you and as well as others and introduction to these different persons over time. You will learn how to get email contacts + what to do if you get no reply. This is currently an unpaid internship, there is a possibility of it being paid in time. 1. Your research will consist of cold calling on behalf of the artist. You must be cordial and professional in your approach. What to say and what to go over will be covered later on. There are seven different paths we will take in our calling. You will be taught this as an on-going project. 2. You will learn how to write letters and what to say to the people you write to. There are eight different types of letters that can be written. You will learn this also. 3. A. It is my desire that this person have a gentle hand when writing prose, not to be very bravado in their approach and correspondence. Knowing verbal tact of persuasion and courteousness when requesting someone’s attention.
