I needed an alignment on my car as my front tires were wearing unevenly. I took my car to Mavis on Sheridan. I explained to the gentleman there that, while I was going to buy four new tires, that's not why I was there. I need a front end alignment. I had him come outside to the parking lot to show him the uneven wear on my tires and asked him if the alignment would solve this problem. He assured me that it would. Mavis sold me tires, close to $1000.00 and charged me $120.00 for the alignment. Two months later the new front tires started wearing unevenly again! After days of getting blown off, they said we can give you a great deal on two new tires! Finally the regional manager replaced the two front tires for free and refunded the $120 they took for the alignment leaving me still needing an alignment months after I went there. I asked one of the guys working there why they would refund the money? why wouldn't they just do the alignment like it says on their sign and take the money? His reply was we don't have anyone here who can do an alignment!!! making them liars AND thieves. Most cars don't need an alignment when they get new tires, so Mavis will charge you for one but you wont actually receive it. That's a free $120 for Mavis on every set of tires sold. So if you want to waste your time, be lied to or have your money stolen, get an ex-wife or go to Mavis Tire!
