Description

Small, growing manufacturing company seeks individual for immediate hire with interest in product blending/manufacturing and mixing of our abrasive polishing compounds and materials, plus other related tasks including operating abrasive finishing machines. Experience with product blending, fork truck operation, or as a machine operator helpful, but not required. Compensation is $24.00 - $26.00 plus benefits. Benefits/Perks: * Competitive Medical and dental plan * 10 paid vacation days accrued through the year * 5 personal days accrued through the year * 9 paid holidays * Room for growth Principal Responsibilities up to and including: *Make and blend various products (cleaners/adhesives/lubricants/etc.) by following batch sheet instructions, including setup/staging and cleanup. *Prepare products for shipping (labeling/filling jugs/pails/drums/etc.) *Perform shipping and receiving operations (prepare shipments as per packing lists, palletize/band/wrap as needed, load and unload trucks) *Make and blend abrasive polishing compounds, as needed *Operate machinery in job shop for production runs of customer parts, as needed *Follow documented procedures and processes *General up-keep of the operations areas *Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor Requirements *High school diploma / GED *Must be organized, systematic and a quick learner *Must be careful, conscientious, and safety-orientated *Clear verbal and written communication abilities *Must be able to lift minimum of 50 pounds *Prior fork-truck experience a plus *Must be team oriented. We are involved in many projects. Employees generally specialize in certain areas, but many functions can be performed by whomever is available.
