If you’ve seen Ace live, you know that his personality is a big component of his stage presence. Ace accompanied by the band has his sights set on taking over Milwaukee with a new album 317. TRU WEST Milwaukee born artist, Tru West, is a singer, songwriter, executive producer, and artist activist– who has been a creative force, shaking up the scene with her mesmerizing voice and nostalgic 90’s-esque style. Originally canceling out her dreams of performing due to stage fright, Tru’s love for fashion and design aligned her on the path to writing and recording her first song after working in a fashion show back in 2015. From creating remixes, or “Trumixes”, of popular songs to releasing her “Gift of Gab” eps I and II, Tru continues to push the envelope for what it means to be “tru” to yourself. Her undeniable talents and versatility has led her to artist activism, working with local organizations, such as, Leaders Igniting Transformation, where she executively produced a collaborative mixtape “From the Ashes, We Rise” that featured an All-Star cast of local artists–including, Genesis Renji, Von Alexander, Nile, MoCity, Mudy, and more. Tru’s evolution has been nothing short of divine, as she embraces her depth and vulnerability in upcoming projects, she strives to connect with listeners more personally in 2022.
