Montessori School of Agoura has reopened with care and is accepting enrollment for children 2 through 6 years. Montessori School of Agoura is a traditional Montessori preschool and Kindergarten, founded in 1979, and is a well-respected part of the community. Children have the freedom to progress at their own pace, explore their world, make discoveries and draw their own conclusions. Students gain knowledge, confidence and leadership skills. Our low student to teacher ratio in each class provides each child with an individual learning program in an enjoyable and stimulating setting. We have two preschool classes and a combined Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten class. Students acquire a solid foundation for lifelong learning. Our dedicated, qualified, full time teachers are Montessori trained and have worked for the school for 4 – 26 years. We take the health and safety guidelines very seriously and have increased cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting, including the play structures in the playground. Our main priority is to ensure children are safe, well and learning in a developmentally appropriate environment. Currently, classes are limited to 12 students each by the Department of Public Health under Coronavirus stipulations, which limit us to a total of 36 students.
