Race weekend is back That means the return of the elites, the crowds, the excitement, and the spotlight on the city People will talk about how good it is to be back Running Boston again But we never left We've been running these streets Everyday Not just when the cameras are watching Last October was a dream actualized A change realized A truth told This year we want to show you That April is for everyone Come experience OUR CITY OUR WAY -Barak Soreff (Captain of PIONEERS Run Crew) -------- PIONEERS Run Crew (PRC), in community with Lululemon, hosted the inaugural 26.TRUE Marathon in October 2021. It was the first marathon we had ever organized as a crew and the event was such a special way to highlight neighborhoods throughout the City of Boston and celebrate communities that are often overlooked during marathon weekend. Thanks to an overwhelming wave of support and appreciation for last year's event, we are bringing back the energy and vibes just in time for the 2022 Boston Marathon Weekend! PRC invites you to come run with us on April 16th, 2022 a full marathon (26.2 miles) on a course that was specifically designed to amplify and celebrate the culture and diversity of the neighborhoods that make up the City of Boston. We invite runners of all ages, backgrounds, races, and paces to participate in our one-of-a-kind marathon created to redefine what running in Boston can look and feel like. The course this year will be the same as our 2021 route, only this time, in reverse! Although this marathon is unsanctioned and untimed, we will provide course marshals to help with directions, 10 hydration stops with water approximately every 2.5 miles (several of which will also provide , Gatorade, GUs, and chews), cheer zones, and restrooms along the route. Registration for 26.TRUE Marathon 2022 is $75 and includes: - Entry to the marathon with a one-of-a-kind route through the City of Boston - A special-edition Lululemon 26.TRUE Marathon T-shirt - A souvenir bib - A 26.TRUE Marathon finisher's medal **26.TRUE Marathon is unsanctioned without road closures and although we will have course marshals, cheer zones, and hydration stations along the route, runners will be required to run at their own risk** Not planning to run 26.TRUE Marathon but want to support and cheer for the participants?
