AGOURA HILLS, California – The COVID-19 pandemic has upended the lives of millions of people around the world and lead to a surge in mental health and addiction problems. Non-client visitors are prohibited from entering the facility, and clients are supplied with masks and hand sanitizer. According to a Kaiser Family Foundation poll, more than half of adults in the United States report their mental health has been negatively impacted due to worry and stress over the coronavirus. Many adults reported problems such as difficulty sleeping or eating, worsening chronic conditions, and increases in alcohol and substance use.
