Word of Life Youth Ministries is excited to invite you to this free conference for youth ministry leaders! We are dedicated to providing ministry leaders and pastors with quality training for spiritual and ministry development. Our theme for the Mid-Year Leader's Conference is WHAT'S NEXT. We want to help you take your ministry to the next level. That is why we are focusing on the following two areas of ministry development: Following Up with New BelieversMinistry Evaluation MeetingsFollow Up with New BelieversA young person trusted in Christ through your ministry recently. Praise the Lord! But now what do you do to guide them in the very first steps of their faith journey? Michael Kilbride will be sharing with you tools and protocol to teach your student or child the major tennants of the faith and how to get them integrated in your discipleship ministries. Ministry Evaluation MeetingsHow can you know where you're going if you don't know where you've been? If we want to improve in any area of life, we need to make an honest evaluation of how we are doing. David Livingston will teach you the importance of ministry evaluations and guide you into how to run them at the end of your ministry year. Key Note Speaker - Pastor Joel Wegner Pastor Joel Wegner has served on the Pastoral staff of Colonial Baptist Church in Blue Ridge, VA since 1997. He served as the Youth & Music Pastor for 23 until accepting the call as the Lead Pastor in January 2020. Pastor Joel graduated from Appalachian Bible College in 1994 with a BA in Bible/Missions. He has also earned a Master of Divinity degree from Northland Baptist Bible College in 2008. Pastor Joel and his beautiful wife, Vicki, have one amazing son, Micah.
