A Community Chess Club at the Rockville Science Center Chess Club at the Rockville Science CenterDate & Time: Mondays, 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM Location: 36C Maryland Avenue, Rockville MD 20850 Parking: Parking Garage "A". First two hours are free. Entrance on Maryland Avenue and 355. Note: For now, you have to bring your chess set. We will be getting chess sets shortly. COVID-19Your play chess face to face less than 6 feet apart. Expect to follow a few simple rules until the current pandemic wave moves on. Masks: You will not be allowed into the building without a mask. Vaccinates: We expect everyone to be vaccinated.Tickets: Attendance limited during the omicron wave. You must register and have a ticket. When the omicron wave moves on we will fully open the club. The Chess Club at the RSC is a family friendly place to watch, learn, watch, and play chess. We are open most Mondays and for special events. We look forward to having you join us. Registering in Eventbrite is temporary. When this pandemic wave moves on, we will be fully open to the public.
