In this class, you will learn to create a perfect ecosystem for miniature plants and make a nice additional for your home. Tue., Mar. 8, 6:30-8 pm / $45 / One Class Instructor: Kelsey Pearman In-person at VPC Campus Terrariums are a great way to bring nature into your home. Inside their glass garden, the plants don’t need much care and can live for a long time before you need to replace or prune them. The term “terrarium” is comprised of the Latin words “terra” (earth) + “arium” (place, or receptacle). In this class, you will learn to create a perfect ecosystem for miniature plants; how to select the right tropical plants, arrange and plant them to create a magical miniature natural world. About Your Instructor Kelsey Pearman Kelsey Perman is an Environmental Compliance Specialist with Hamilton County with a Masters degree in Biology, Ecology. In her personal time she has a love of terrariums and has been building them for many years. Kelsey recently started her own shop. Life is a never-ending learning process, then why not learn a few more skills to enrich it?
