About the Job: We are growing and hiring Metal Fabricators and Welders/Fitters to join our team in Ferndale, fabricating our custom-designed structural steel assemblies. Duties include: Plan and prepare jobs, create layouts. Read, analyze and interpret shop drawings. Safely rig components for lifting. Fabricate, assemble, and inspect components. Tack weld fabricated assemblies for welders to finish. Other duties as required. Day Shift - Monday to Fri (8 Hour shift with 30-minute unpaid lunch) - 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Skills and Requirements: 3+ years of experience working in a steel manufacturing environment. Experience with fitting/fabricating structural steel, plate work, and custom fabrications. Experience with steel fabrication techniques, steel grades, and shapes. Experience maximizing the utilization of materials and minimize waste of materials.
