Paint Night at Boonies, Burgers, Beer, & Bait. Paint this adorable rain boot on a 100 year old roofing slate. NO talent or art training needed. Just a desire to learn something new and have fun. If you have never painted on slate now is your opportunity to have local artist, Kathy Smith show you how simple it is to paint on a medium 8" X 16" slate. The slates come from old building roofs throughout Maryland, Delaware or Pennsylvania and will be drilled with holes for hanging from the supplied leather strap. The artist will transferred the design onto the slate in advance of the class. Your finished slate can be displayed inside or out depending on the final top coat. Make a night of it and plan to arrive early for dinner. Boonies has delicious food and you will not be disappointed. Painting will start promptly 6:30 pm. Seating will be limited to only 25 tickets.
