Safety Care for Families is a training for families & caregivers of individuals with IDD and/or Autism. Safety Care for Families provides relevant and effective training to family members and others who provide support in a home environment to individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities (IDD) and/or Autism who may sometimes exhibit disruptive or dangerous behavior.  Training Information includes: Understanding Challenging Behavior Reinforcement of Positive Behavior Incident Prevention Safety Habits Manage your own behavior and emotional reactions Incident Minimization Family Safety Plan Physical Safety Participants must be 18 years old and must be the caregiver or family member of someone with IDD and/or Autism. This is a FREE event!
