Description

History. Beer. Friends. What else could you ask for? Have you ever wanted to step back in time for a day? Now is your chance! Buckman Tavern's official liquor license expired in 1813, but we still open for business on occasion. We're recreating the 18th century tavern experience in Lexington's most popular 18th century entertainment venue - drop in for colonial music, games, snacks, and beer served from the historic bar in the Buckman's original taproom. Mingle with the Lexington Militia of 1775, along with some other colonial characters, as they bring the Revolutionary tavern to life. Raise a glass to freedom on a cold winter's night! $15 Members/$20 Nonmembers Ticket price includes one beer. Cash bar available. This is a 21+ event. Please note that the town of Lexington currently has a mask mandate in place when not eating or drinking, and Lexington Historical Society requires proof of Covid-19 vaccination to enter our museums. The mission of Lexington Historical Society is to be a premier interpreter of the events of April 1775, and the faithful steward of all of the town's history through time.
