Backyard Pod has an immediate opening for a Warehouse and Delivery Lead at our manufacturing facility in Austin, TX. In this position you would be a key part of the Operations team. You will build a career with a Startup working in a hands-on environment. You will have the opportunity to rotate through multiple departments, gaining exposure to the broad range of equipment, processes, and technologies employed in our operation. Responsibilities: - Organize materials for customer deliveries in accordance with build plans - Assist in loading and unloading the delivery trailers - Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and order pickers - Learn our inventory management system and enter materials transactions - Deliver material to customers in a timely manner - Maintain warehouse inventory accuracy - Work with our supply chain and distribution teams to process customer orders - Maintain a clean and safe work environment Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED equivalent - Drivers License and ability to drive with a trailer - 3 or more years of experience in manufacturing warehouse environment - Basic math skills - Intermediate computer skills - Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Experience operating a forklift (sit down or stand up) - Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. - Ability to read and follow work instructions in English - Desire for continuous learning Backyard Pod is investing in the future of efficient and sustainable building technologies.
