Links, an American Grill invites you to join us March 11th in the Heritage Room inside the Harbour Town Clubhouse for an elegant and educational evening of fine wine and dinner featuring Château d'Esclans. The event includes a special presentation by representative, Paul Chevalier.
Links, an American Grill Chef de Cuisine Sean Carroll will prepare a distinctive five-course menu that includes, pheasant breast, diver scallops, chef's seasonal amuse bouche and is paired perfectly with wines from Château d'Esclans.
Speaker Paul Chevalier spoke about one of pairings saying, "the Garrus is by far the most expensive Rose in the world – very, very exclusive because only a few barrels are produced every year.”
The primary grape grown on the Château d'Esclans property is Grenache followed by Vermentino. Other grapes include Cinsault, Merlot, Mourvèdre, Syrah, and Tibouren. The château is known for its old Grenache vines which produce grapes that offer greater concentration of flavor than do the younger vines. As the elevation to where the lots are situated increases, so do the age of the vines. At the highest elevated lot vines are as old as 90 years.
Tickets are $130 per person, including tax and gratuity.
