Join us at the Northeast Georgia History Center on Sunday, February 13th from 1pm-4pm as we learn about the War of 1812. Join us at the Northeast Georgia History Center on Sunday, February 13th from 1pm-4pm as we learn about the War of 1812. Explore the conflict that pitted the United States against Native Americans and the British Empire, and led to the establishment of a truly national identity. Meet a US Army soldier and a Georgia militiaman; take part in hands-on activities, and enjoy a pop up exhibit on Georgia's involvement in the war.
