Description
Our Pickleball 102 - (hosted by Seidwinder Pickleball @ The Phoenician Resort) is for adv beg / low intermediate (MAX 8 PEOPLE) “Pickleball 102” – Advanced Beginners/Low-Intermediate - RISING STAR CLASS: This class is for those who have had exposure to the game or have attended the pickleball 101 class. We won’t spend any time on learning rules, scoring, and all the other simple basic principles. We will continue to work on all shots that are essential to your development along with furthering your knowledge of all the crucial strategies to be successful and build your way into a 3.0+ player. We will spend at least the first half of the class with drills and instruction, followed by a longer doubles play time at the end to really focus on positioning and shot selection. **There are no refunds within 7 days of the clinic unless you or we can fill your spot (of which you would then get a credit). Within 7 days (but before the clinic), cancellation due to sickness/covid, we will do our best to slot you into a future clinic that has an opening, but that is not guaranteed. Every Class Philosophy: Although we hope you come back, we teach you like our resort guests, with the mindset that you may not see us again for a long time. We don't string you along. Only 8 guests maximum at a time at each clinic. Paddles/Equipment are always provided (top of the line Selkirk demos) along with bottled water and towel service for daytime clinics. We may even break out our Military Grade Pickleball Launcher. These are action packed stand-alone clinics filled with tons of information. You will forget stuff. But you are now part of the Seidwinder Family and you will get a business card so you can reach us anytime with any questions for the rest of your "pickleball career". Join us and DINK POSITIVE! Seidwinder Pickleball clinics bring a clear and concise new age thought process to a sport taking over Arizona! Andrew, the owner of Seidwinder, is the Director of Pickleball at The Phoenician, the only AAA Five-Diamond Resort in Arizona with a pickleball program. All our clinics are located on the immaculate grounds of The Phoenician Resort. We treat you like a hotel guest. Your clinic will include bottled water, top of the line Selkirk paddles if needed (or to demo) of all shapes and sizes, equipment - including the premier ball machines on the market that can dink at 5mph or drive at 70mph (if needed), towel service, etc. etc. All this fun takes place at a centrally located pristine spot at the base of Camelback Mountain with unparalleled views. If you live in the area and have a desire to learn how to play pickleball or improve your level of play, we would love to help you in this public clinics as the resort has loosened their guidelines to allow the clinics to happen on a limited basis. You do not need to be a resort guest anymore. We use a positive, upbeat and fun method catered to each adult or junior player that entrusts us to run a clinic. We also teach you like a resort guest. Our intro/beginner clinics operate under the premise that we may never see you again (although we hope we do), so we leave you with all the tools and knowledge to grow into. This isn't the typical bounce the ball on your paddle, lets stretch and work on coordination for a half hour type of clinic. We always dink positive and it isn't just lip service. Seidwinder Pickleball is part of Team Selkirk. Accepting an invitation to join Team Selkirk was a no-brainer for us. Not only do they provide uncompromising quality through high performance equipment, but they also strive to improve the pickleball community as a whole. We bring their family-oriented genuine approach to all our teaching in our home of Scottsdale / Phoenix, Arizona. Andrew is the director of Seidwinder Pickleball & The Phoenician Resort's pickleball program located on the lush grounds pictured above. As a father of five kids & a commercial real estate agent specializing in working with tenants and buyers, he is constantly active in the community having to advocate for a certain outcome. Andrew uses these communication skills to provide a clear and concise message to accomplish every students goals. Almost all of his remaining time outside his family and real estate is dedicated to his passion to grow the game of Pickleball in the Phoenix/Arcadia/Scottsdale area. As this has not been Andrew's primary profession, Andrew currently donates a large portion of any any fees earned to a local charity supporting children in our community.
