Participants will be introduced to the concept of emotional intelligence and learn how to apply concepts to their practice. Emotional Intelligence in Leadership (4 CEUs)Presented by Lisa Wymer, EDD Participants will be introduced to the concept of emotional intelligence through activities which will help them develop self-awareness and put concepts into practice. Through personal assessment they will learn impactful behaviors that will help them be more effective in their professional and personal relationships. The learning outcomes for this session are: Demonstrate knowledge of the concepts and models of Emotional Intelligence and the Intentional Change Model.Apply the theoretical framework of Emotional Intelligence.Evaluate and increase awareness of personal strengths as well as opportunities of growth in developing Emotional Intelligence.Develop and implement changes in behavior in order increase overall effectiveness.This 4 hour CEU is appropriate for all social workers who are interested in emotional intelligence and how to incorporate concepts of emotional intelligence into practice. There are a limited number of in-person tickets available in order to maintain social distancing.
