WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington is seeking candidates to sit on the Planning Board, with a vacancy set to open up following the annual town meeting, April 1. The Planning Board is an appointed five-member body that "reviews proposed development projects in Town and makes decisions in accordance with State laws and local bylaws," per the town website. The board meets once monthly, typically on the first Tuesday of the month. The position is a volunteer role.
