Hiring urgently! We are seeking a sales assistant to help with photo and video sales for a dance competition in the Chicago area from Friday to Sunday, Feb 11th - Feb 13th, 2022. Retail experience and a background in dance are a plus. Please note that proof of vaccination is required, thank you. Event date: Feb 11th - Feb 13th (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) Theater: Lund Auditorium at Dominican University Performing Arts Center Location: 7900 West Division St. River Forest, IL 60305 Hours: FRI, Feb 11th, 2022: 12:30pm - 9:55pm (approx 9 hrs) SAT, Feb 12th, 2022: 8:30am - 9:50pm (approx 13hrs) SUN, Feb 13th, 2022: 8:30am - 6:30 (Approx 9hrs) You will have 30 min meal breaks and 15 min breaks. *Must be able to work all days to apply, thank you. The sales assistant will provide administrative support to sales and other duties as assigned. - Assist customers with photo previews - Check customer order info for accuracy and completeness - Process credit card payments using a Square POS system - Provide excellent customer service - Help select ballet/dance images for sample slideshow Qualifications: - Strong communication and problem-solving skills - Strong customer service and interpersonal skills - Familiarity with Apple devices and tech-savvy - Ballet/Dance background is a plus - Help coordinate and place meal orders for the photo/video team Compensation: $560 for the gig (Approx $18 per hour) Paid in cash on the last day of the event.
