BROWN DEER, WI — Two shooting victims and the shooter who died in a Brown Deer apartment complex on Saturday have been identified by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office. The deaths of Arieuna Reed, 23, and Michael Edward Anderson, 31, were ruled homicides by the examiner's office. The death of Larvell Huddleston, the 26-year-old who investigators believe was the shooter, was ruled a suicide. Both Reed and Anderson were pronounced dead at the apartment complex just before 11 a.m. on Saturday, the examiner's office ruled. Huddleston died at Froedtert Hospital shortly after 3 p.m. Huddleston shot at police from a window, prompting response from a SWAT team. When a tactical team entered the apartment he was in, they found Huddleston, Reed and Anderson dead. A fourth person, Eric Lewis, was shot in the leg when he tried to help Anderson, Fox 6 Milwaukee reported. Lewis survived the shooting. A child found inside the apartment was unharmed. Police haven't named the child. The standoff started around 10 a.m. and ended around noon on Saturday, Brown Deer Police Chief Peter Nimmer said at a news conference. He said police were responding to a shots-fired report at 8901 Park Plaza Court when they were fired upon.
