Exhibit opening with Honorees at The Galleria Fort Lauderdale. In honor of Women’s History Month, History Fort Lauderdale and The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale will present “Women Trailblazers: Champions of Change - Broward County,” a photography exhibition, March 10 -31 that will showcase six current women trailblazers: Sabrina Alfonso, Alexandra Anagnostis-Irons, Kathleen Cannon, Melanie Dickinson, Bertha Henry, and Carolyn Michaels who are proponents of change. Each modern woman will be paired with an historical female predecessor who helped to pave the way for our community as it is, today. Proceeds from this exhibit opening will benefit History Fort Lauderdale. History Fort Lauderdale operates 3 museums & a research library on its historic campus on the New River. Guided tours of museums begin every day at 1, 2, and 3pm. K-12 educational programs, life long learning, specialty tours, art exhibits, family fun days and much more are offered.
