***Pick up times are Thursday, February 10th, 3 pm to 7 pm with curbside available*** Dinosaur Art Inspired by Jean-Michel Basquiat (Kids Ages 4-10) As we continue to celebrate Black History Month, we are turning to one of our favorite artists, Jean-Michel BasquiatBasquiat was known for his "graffiti art" throughout New York's Lower East Side and East Village in the late 1970s and into the1980s. He quickly moved from being a well-known street artist to becoming world famous, with his "childlike" paintings displayed in galleries and museums around the globe.Our project will be modeled on Basquiat's 1984 work Pez Dispenser, which features a street art style black dinosaur wearing a golden crown.
