STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — A man pulled a gun from his truck during a dispute at a Wawa in Stafford County on Saturday morning, according to a report from the sheriff's office. A victim told police that they called a man a jerk before he retrieved the gun. The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5 at the Wawa located at 105 Garrisonville Road in Stafford. The initial report described a disturbance with a weapon, police said. When a deputy arrived on the scene, a victim told police that they were waiting in line for the air pump when a man in a truck cut through the line. The victim called the man a jerk, according to the police report. The suspect then returned to his truck and retrieved a firearm and displayed it to the victim, police said. The suspect left the area before police arrived on the scene. The suspect is described as a white man driving a Ford pickup truck. The responding deputy is still working to identify the driver and conduct an interview, the sheriff's office said in an update posted to Facebook. Have a story idea?
