Press release from Westfield Public Schools: Feb. 7, 2022 The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Association of Westfield announced this month the finalists in their 2022 essay, poetry and art contest for grades 1-8 and public service announcement (PSA) contest for grades 9-12. "The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Association of Westfield was very pleased with the student participation in our annual contest this year. We asked the younger students to think about what feeling "included" meant to them and what they could do to make sure everyone around them feel included," says association president Elizabeth Wolf. "The older students were asked what they would do personally to eliminate racism and be inclusive. We were impressed with the thoughtful essays, poems, artwork, and PSAs that we received this year."
