LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office responded to several incidents around the region over the weekend. Notable reports included property damage caused by children and multiple assaults and abductions. On Friday night, an employee of the Skyzone in Sterling reported that a child kicked a window of the business, causing damage. On Saturday night, deputies responded to a vacant home in the 24900 block of Falling Brook Circle in Aldie. A caller reported that juveniles were hosting a party at the unoccupied home. When deputies arrived on the scene, the a "large number of juveniles" began to run from the home. The property sustained significant damage, authorities said. Authorities also made multiple arrests in connection with the assaults. On Friday evening in Sterling, deputies responded received a report of an assault and an attempted abduction. The incident occurred in the 200 block N. Joshua Court in Sterling. A victim told police that a man she knew assaulted her and tried to force her into his car before driving away. Authorities identified the man as Antawan Moten. He was arrested at his home and charged with assault and abduction. He is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center. Another assault was reported on Saturday evening in Sterling. A victim told police that a man she knew assaulted her, according to the police report. When she attempted to flee, the suspect blocked her exit and took her cellphone, preventing her from calling law enforcement, police said. The suspect, who was later identified as Dustin Tull, was arrested and charged with assault, abduction and kidnapping, and destroying a phone line with intent to prevent a call to law enforcement. Deputies also responded to a pair of burglaries in Sterling. Authorities said that items were taken from the Exxon on E. Holly Avenue and the Sterling Smoke and Vape Shop in separate incidents.
