The city of Irving offered the update that all eastbound lanes of Sixth Street, from Nursery Road to Glenmore Street, will be closed beginning February 9. The closure is due to a wastewater improvement project. Eastbound traffic will be diverted until the project's completion in April. Have you had a chance to visit Heritage Park lately? The newly renovated park features a historic train display, complete with caboose and vintage train depot, a picnic area and the iconic old water tower.
