Why it matters: We're looking to make sure students and staff are well hydrated and safe while the city is under a boil water notice. Here's how we will serve lunch safely: There will be a modified menu that will use less water in the cooking process. This isn't a plumbing problem. We're all going to be very safe as long as we use bottled or boiled water. Driving the news: The city of Austin issued its water boil notice Saturday evening because of a malfunction at the Ullrich Water Treatment Plant.
