Here are the top 3 stories in Charleston today: The South Carolina State Museum and the City of Charleston are working together to figure out a loan agreement about the statue of John C. Calhoun. The agreement seeks to relocate the statue to the Carolina State Museum. After the agreement is written out it would need to be approved by both the South Carolina State Museum Commission and the Charleston City Council. The conference that celebrates film and media will be held on Feb. 24 to 26 at the South Carolina Aeronautical Training Center. Attendees at the conference will get to meet 11 award-winning filmmakers from across the nation and the opportunity to attend media-centered events. Reports indicate that there were no injuries during the incident that occurred at the Palms Apartment complex on Royal Palms Boulevard. Approximately one hundred firefighters arrived at the scene to battle the flames.
