JOLIET, IL — On Monday night, Troy School Superintendent Todd Koehl issued a statement announcing that following a special meeting, the Troy 30-C Board of Education acted to temporarily suspend its current mitigations for masking, employee testing and close contact tracing.
Starting Tuesday, the Troy 30-C Board of Education recommends but does not require student and staff masking, employee testing and close contact tracing, the superintendent declared.
Troy's school district was founded in 1949 and includes portions of Joliet, Shorewood, Channahon, Crest Hill, and unincorporated Troy Township.
