HIGHLAND PARK, IL (FEBRUARY 2022) – Freedom Home Care, one of the leading and most respected home care agencies in the North Shore and throughout the Chicago area, is proud to host a glasses collection drive with the goal of giving the gift of sight to local people in need. Is it time for you to get new glasses? Don’t throw your old glasses out. Donate the old ones today! Glasses can be expensive, which means many people in need cannot afford to buy glasses when they need them. Glasses are often an essential part of people’s lives — they help children see the board in class, aid older people to see while driving, and assist everyone in seeing the world around them. Without glasses, many people cannot see properly and may experience negative health consequences, like headaches and astigmatisms. From young children to elderly folks, glasses are needed by many people in the local community. Glasses in all prescriptions, shapes, colors, and sizes are welcome. At Freedom Home Care, we are hosting a glasses collection drive. We have a drop box to drop off the glasses at our Highland Park Location: 1749 Green Bay Road. It will be open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. We will donate old pairs of glasses to local people in need.
