CHARLOTTE, NC — Investigators are hoping an anonymous donation leads to new tips in a2021 homicide, according to police. On July 21, 2021, police responded to an apartment complex on Pressley Road in west Charlotte to a call of an assault with a deadly weapon. That's where they discovered Michael Camp with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he later died. Crime Stoppers is offering a $6,000 reward for information thanks to a private donation, police said.
