SolarFi is an award-winning organization focused on advanced mobility headquartered out of Boston and LA. Overview You will be part of a team or lead our team on builds as we begin the production of various projects. This is for those who enjoy working with their hands and want to make a difference while doing so. Various positions are open: Carpenter, Foreman, and solar wiring. Requirements ● Have own tools including impact drill, table saw a plus ● Great carpentry skills ● Having a Cargo Van or Truck is a plus and should be mentioned ● Assign tasks to construction workers ● Ensure that the project is staying on or under budget ● Patient and hard-worker ● Willingness to be coached, taught and trained ● Have assembled furniture before (e.g. Ikea) Desired Qualifications ● Flooring experience a plus ● Solar panel wiring experience a plus but not needed ● Do not need an engineering degree, but it could help ● Can follow instructions and lead ● Flexible Tasks ● Assisting with the production of SolarFi products ● Build pre-fabbed greenhouses ● Give input on potential design improvements. ● Perform quality checks ● Report project progress to superiors ● Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
