Photography Portrait project - "Sobriety"

Hello all, I am a local photographer embarking on a new portraiture series focusing on sobriety. I am interested in exploring the lives of people who have undertaking the hard task of staying sober. I am doing this for many reasons, but mainly because in the photo world we mainly see series of people struggling in active addiction. I think it is just as important to show the other side. It is a story worth telling. I also have a personal connection with sobriety and or addiction with my family. This is meant to be a collaborative piece. Meaning I would like the subject to have some sort of control over how the portraits are taken. My initial thoughts are that I can photograph them doing something that they love if it is something that helps them with their sobriety. Or I could take photos of them in a place that brings them peace, ect. If anyone is interested or knows anyone that may be interested please reach out to my email so we could chat.
