About the Role: Sanitation Technician - 3rd shift Monday-Friday 10:00 pm - 6:30 am **$2,000 Bonus for new team members! (Paid $1,000 at 30 days & $1,000 at 90 days on the job)** As a Sanitation Technician you’ll be responsible for maintaining plant cleanliness and sanitation operations. We’ll rely on you to exceed company and industry standards as you sanitize work equipment, floors, railings, offices, and bathrooms. You’ll work independently as you complete day by day checklists and report any findings to the manager. Worked with chemicals and sanitizing agents before? What You'll Do: As a Sanitation Technician, you will perform housekeeping duties to keep areas of the facility in good condition. This includes our warehouse, production and outside perimeters of the New Century facility so they stay in clean and orderly condition. Other things you'll do will include janitorial responsibilities for the production, offices and plant welfare areas. You will also assist with cleaning production rooms and equipment. The safety of all of our team members is important, so you'll need to follow all facility safety rules policies and requirements, including LockOut/TagOut procedures. We manufacture food products, so you will be expected to perform all assignments in accordance with established policies, procedures and best practices with specific adherence to SOP's, GMP's, Food Safety standards (we'll train you!). As part of keeping everyone safe, you will restock supplies for Personal Protection Equipment, hand sanitizers, hand washing and welfare areas. In your role, you will gain proficiency with equipment assigned to the sanitation Department including but not limited to Forklift, Scissor Lift, Articulating Boom Lift. Following written Standards Operating Procedures and task given on a daily basis, including working with production on task that needs attention, will keep us all safe and operating smoothly. Cleaning tasks are laid out in Daily, weekly, monthly tasked outlines using MMS cleaning procedures. Skills You'll Need to Succeed: - Must be able to follow written and verbal instruction and follow Safety rules that apply. - Must be able to work as part of a team. - Must be flexible with overtime and weekends. - This position includes but are not limited to lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, bending, standing, crouching, reaching overhead. - Team member must also be able to lift 2-50 lbs. - Position requires constant and continuous support of production and other reasonable request throughout the shift. - Must be able to tolerate exposure to potential allergens: Egg, Dairy, Gluten, Wheat, Soy etc. - Experience with GMP's and understanding basic sanitation procedures. - Ability to perform and demonstrate LockOut/TagOut on equipment.
