OVERVIEW: -FREE 8-week skills training program geared towards refugees and immigrants -First week of course is orientation + 12 hours of OSHA training -Weeks 2-8 will be class on Zoom and a paid in-person internship -Class meets 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) from 9am-12pm -In-person internship is 2 days a week (Tuesday, Thursday) from 9am-5pm (pay is $16.57/hour) -IINE provides placement services after graduation from the course REQUIREMENTS: -BOSTON residents only -18+ years of age -Authorized to work in the U.S. -Must have had previous work experience in U.S. -Intermediate level of English -Committed to finding a full-time job as a maintenance technician -Able to work a flexible schedule -Access to a functioning laptop and internet connection -Ability to travel 2 days a week to internship -Drivers license preferred but not required ***Please email Abbey Weil at if you are interested or have any questions.
