Great questions!!!! I have a couple of answers.... I am trying to understand the facts behind some of the arguments posted here. What effect did cancelling a pipeline that wasn't constructed have to do with oil prices? The pipeline was not finished but operational in the northern completed areas. What it was doing was moving American and Canadian crude via safer land pipe as opposed to rail or even sea tanker, incorporated more facilities into the pipeline feedand reduced cost and danger by multitudes. Also helped create and maintain jobs and pay North Americans before other continents for energy. If the economy is growing rapidly, with enormous job growth and a record stock market, how is that worse than before? The job market is not growing...its restoring. The claim is all these new jobs being made but you can't claim a restored job due to shut downs and restrictions as a "new" job. The proof I give you for this is look at the businesses that have closed- the restaurant and service industry notably. The stock market is in horrible shape compared to the past. The rhetoric doesnt match reality. Look at housing markets, inflation, the sheer cost of goods. If tax cuts primarily to the wealthy only concentrated the wealth to the top 5% without benefitting the average worker, how is that good? I agree. The only bright side I see is the wealthy own the businesses. The question becomes will the wealthy share those cuts with the employees in the form of benefits, profit sharing, raises, etc? But I agree with your premise and the action shifts from the lawmakers to those receiving the cuts and how they handle it from there. If we have open borders why are immigrants denied access? We don't have open borders. There are laws- many that require legal entry. Why aren't there more than a few stories of immigrants destroying our cities and raping and killing our citizens? Political slant and narrative is big when giving "news" these days. Ah hell.
