Option to continue donating after that if you would like. Have any recent TATTOOS or PIERCINGS? Any recent piercing or tattoo work may affect your eligibility to donate for a period of 4 months. In other words, if you've done any in the last 3 months, you should wait before setting up an appointment. (If not done at a legitimate professional place or done outside of the US, they may make you wait up to 12 months.) Now if you're already donating at a different plasma company? You can switch and try here after waiting 7 days. Need to wait 8 weeks after donating blood then you're good to go. There are numerous locations, for a donation center near you, please email us your name and which city below is closest for you. Then we'll send you details and the special coupon for that center. You can donate 2 times a week and continue donating after you make the $900. 1st time there takes longer because you also have a little medical examination with a nurse (nothing too invasive so don't worry) just to make sure you are healthy along with a variety of questions so plan on like 2 to 2 ½ hours. Should know names and dates of any of your past medical proceeders. All your other visits should only take about an hour or so to donate. Times at different locations may vary esp. if you schedule your appointments during their busier times. I am not sure what the waiting guidelines are for recent tattoos and piercings.
