*FULL VACCINATION FOR COVID-19 IS REQUIRED* We are currently looking for a Food Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic who will be responsible for PM’s, work orders, repairs and corrections to machinery to insure the smooth running of our food manufacturing plant. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Performs preventative maintenance as scheduled to keep machinery in optimal condition Performs repairs and corrections to machines as directed by Work Order Log and Operations Manager Responsible for auditing equipment as preventative maintenance is performed on the equipment Promptly responds to calls from Production Has working knowledge of general equipment Informs Management of timing issues when extensive repairs required Assists in keeping proper inventory of parts and notifies Management of any deviations, difficulties, and inventory issues Possesses understanding and fundamentals of electrical diagnosis, general concepts of hydraulics and pneumatics Must have your own tools Must have experience working with all types of electric Industrial (not residential) Maintenance: 3 years (Required) Food or other Manufacturing: 3 years (Required) Ability to follow company GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Food Safety practices Monitor machinery to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement. Organize and define tasks with minimal supervision. Work area to be kept clean prior to shifts end. Performs other duties as may be required and/or assigned. Minimum Position Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED Proficient knowledge and ability in welding, as well as electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems Strong attention to detail with high degree of accuracy and precision Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills Ability to meet deadlines with limited supervision Basic computer use knowledge and skills Self-motivated and self-directed Flexible to work any shift as needed Bilingual a plus Benefit Conditions: Waiting period may apply Only full-time employees eligible COVID-19 Precaution(s): ****YOU MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED FOR COVID 19 FOR THIS POSITION**** Personal protective equipment provided or required Temperature screenings Social distancing guidelines in place Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place Typical end time: Job Type: Full-time Pay: $1.00 - $75,000.00 per year
