Hotel Front Desk Agent compensation: W2 or 1099 employment type: full-time QUALIFICATIONS • High school or equivalent (Preferred) • Hotel Experience: 1 year (Preferred) • Front Desk: 1 year (Preferred) CALL: 786.755.1970 or apply online equinoxstaff.com/direct-application DESCRIPTION We are seeking a Front Desk Agent who will assist in the proper execution of Guest Satisfaction and service standards. Ensuring that hotel guests receive hospitable and responsive service during the stay, and upon departure, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty. Front Desk Agent · Accurate and hospitable handling of guest reservation, check-in, check-out, payment, including credit card and cash handling procedures · Proficient administration of the hotel's electronic reservation system · Prompt, friendly response to guest requests or concerns with follow-up to ensure satisfaction · Compliance with hotel safety programs and procedures, including emergency and security systems · Ensures that all required documentation (daily reports, checklists, etc.) are completed in a timely manner · Transmit and receive messages, using telephones or telephone switchboards. · Contact housekeeping or maintenance staff when guests report problems. · Make and confirm reservations. · Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests, and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions. · Record guest comments or complaints, referring customers to managers as necessary. · Advise housekeeping staff when rooms have been vacated and are ready for cleaning. REQUIREMENTS · Previous Front Desk Experience preferred. Experience with OPERA preferred · Proven success in guest service results · Be an outgoing, welcoming personality for the Hotel · Use logical thinking and personal judgment to perform a variety of office tasks that require special skills and knowledge. · Make decisions based on your own judgment and company policy. · Follow instructions without close supervision. · Speak and write clearly and accurately. · Be available for work days, evenings, weekends and holidays. · Time Management skills to meet commitments across multiple departments and roles · Customer Focus to consistently deliver optimal employee and Customer Satisfaction Pay: $15 per hour with experience Schedule: • 8 hour shift Education: • High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: • Hotel Experience: 1 year (Preferred) • Front Desk: 1 year (Preferred) Call 786.755.1970 to apply.
