Electronic duo seeks drummer

We’ve been jamming and developing ideas for a few months, and are looking to add a drummer who wants to write, record, find a practice space to share, and play live. We’d be especially interested in someone who would want to fuse organic and electronic drum parts. We’ve been exploring a range of styles, including hip hop, jazz, indie rock, and electronic music. Our tracks so far have an emphasis on programmed drum beats, pop melodies, auto-tuned vocals, and experimental electronic elements. Both of us moved to Portland in the pandemic, (S) is from Tennessee (vocals/synth/production/bass guitar) and (J) is from Chicago (guitar/synth/samples/production). Here are some some artists that inspire our current work: BROCKHAMPTON, JPEGMAFIA, brakence, Johnny Goth, Lucas Lex, Four Tet, Sylvan Esso, Little Dragon, Ultraista, Darkside, Crumb Once we’re more involved in the music scene, we’re looking to collab with rappers/vocalists of other styles. Also down to work with other musicians, visual artists, etc., Even if you’re not a drummer, feel free to hit us up if any of the above sound interesting!
