You worked on me Wednesday, 2/2/22. In the interest of discretion, I won't mention your name or the place where you work. Hopefully, I will mention enough information so that IF you read this, you will know exactly who both you and I are. I don't know if the connection I sensed was real, or just my hopeful imagination. Or maybe you just have a personality that makes everyone you encounter feel like a good friend who has known you for years. What I do know is that I really feel something every time you work on me. It will be 6 months until I see you again, and I don't know any other way to try to reach you than through this way, so I thought I would try. As you were walking me back, you apologized for being a few minutes late. During my appointment, we talked about my habit that I really need to quit. You mentioned that my habit is not as bad as a similar, but different habit. I jokingly told you that my habit is easy to quit, since I have quit a hundred times. Toward the end of my appointment, you jokingly asked (as usual), what color toothbrush I would prefer. Then we exchanged our usual friendly pleasantries as we walked toward the front, definitely looking at each other and smiling. This really is truly a Missed Connection post, and I am not looking for anyone else. If you are the lady to whom I am trying to reach, if you reply, please tell me something so that I know for certain that it is you. I really hope to hear from you, and would really love to talk with you outside of your work, as friends, if nothing more (but I AM very attracted to you, so I can't stop thinking about us being really *good friends). Even if you aren't interested in that, please tell me, so at least I could stop hoping. It would be hard on me to hope for 6 months until I see you again. At that time, maybe I wouldn't be so shy again as to not just say something to you about my fondness for you. Here's to hoping that I hear from my favorite dental hygienist...
