Hi Craigs List talented people. have a crazy idea and hoping to find someone to help out. I have a terribly ugly wood parquet floor - and because it is a rental I am not allowed to do anything permanent to fix it.
The room is 13 x 30 with one indent for small desk as well as a narrow hallway about 12 feet long.
Without securing with glue / tack / traditional methods, I'd like to lay new wide plank flooring over what exists, without damaging what exists.
One idea I had was to create sheets of planks secured together. For example, create 4 X 4 squares and lay those in a grid instead of plank by plank.
If anyone is around who might like to work on ideas with me and then help with the project please reach out. - also. This will be no more than one day project. Please let me know what your Rate would be to work on this, I will purchase all the materials on my own of course. Thanks.
