Do you have depression and are currently not medicated? Or are you interested in contributing to depression research? If so, you may qualify to participate in our research study at NYU Langone Health (IRB Study #: i19-00157), investigating the involvement of inflammation in the brain in depression using PET-MRI imaging.  Your participation may include two visits in-person and an online interview  We will ask you for blood and urine samples  Eligible subjects will undergo a PET-MRI scan  You do not have metal implants or non-removable jewelry  Volunteers will be compensated up to $430 based on eligibility  Your information will remain private If you have any questions or would like more information, visit https://clinicaltrials.med.nyu.edu/clinicaltrial/1353/assessment-glutamate-neurotransmission-brain/.
